The minutes of the January 14, 2003, meeting were read and approved.
Sigrid announced that CPCCA has not reached the membership needed to support all training scheduled for this year. We hope to know by the March meeting how many of the scheduled sessions we will be able to present.
May 9th is "Provider Appreciation Day". The Association would like to plan a dinner out for all members and to pay part of the expense. To provide the necessary funds, Sigrid suggested selling Chocolate bars for $1.00 each to any interested parents. After brief discussion, Sharon Ervin moved that the Association undertake the fundraising project. The motion was seconded and passed. Information on other fundraisers is available from Erin Driscoll.

There will be a board meeting open to all members on Tuesday, February 25th.
The next general meeting is March 11, 2003. This meeting will be on "Child Abuse and Neglect". The 2 hour DHR approved training will be presentec by Maria Abercrombie of Chattahoochee Tech. Note: NO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 16 WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS MEETING.

Melissa Davis presented a 2 hour DHR approved training session on "What's Going On In There?: Infant Brain Development and How Early Experiences Affect It".
