There were no inutes read from December, as a Christmas Party was held instead of the regular meeting.
Sigrid informed members that the 2004 training calendar is available on the website. Information will go out as soon as possible with information on the March meeting as it is still being arranged.
It was announced that the refreshment sign-up sheet would be going around. It was suggested that if one did not want to sign up alone, perhaps pairing up with another provider would lighten up the load.
It was announced that the annual 10 DHR required hours of training will be offered by the association, free to members with paid membership, $50.00 due today. Guests may pay $15.00 on day of training.
It was announced that the Quality Care for Children Conference, scheduled for April 20 through May 2, 2004 has been cancelled, due to lack of funding.
Sigrid reminded all providers that the next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2004 on "Classroom on a Budget", Maria Abercrombie, 2 hours DHR approved training.
The meeting adjounrned without questions or comments.
A 2 hour DHR approved training was held on "Taxes and Record Keeping", presented by Stewart Carlin.
