OFFICERS JOB DESCRIPTIONS
                                             PRESIDENT

Manage the association.
Presides at meetings of association and Board of Directors.
Executes and signs all documents of association.
Approves special committees and chairpersons.
Knows and coordinates duties of officers and chairpersons.
Arranges for facilities and times of meetings.
Keeps informed about issues and legislative activities.
Informs members of legislative activity which effects family child care.
Helps association members network with others and related organizations.
Signs checks in absence of treasurer and all checks over $75.00.
Seeks and obtains information about grants to be used to benefit the members of the association.
Fundraising.
                                                VICE-PRESIDENT

Assists president with her duties as requested.
Acts in behalf of the president in her absence.
Actively seeks out outreach projects.
Fundraising.
                                                    TREASURER

Has custody of all funds.
Collects all money for the association.
Signs checks for amounts under $75.00.
Maintains accurate financial records.
Give monthly reports on finances and new membership funds.
Facilitates a biannual audit to be conducted by incoming and outgoing presidents.
Keeps membership chairperson informed of new members.
                                                     SECRETARY

Records minutes at each meeting.
Maintains permanent files of all minutes, attendance, and correspondence.
Written communication as requested by the president.
                                                    MEMBERSHIP INVOLVEMENT

Maintains accurate records of membership and republish list bimonthly.
Coordinates recruitment activities of association.
Maintains a supply of resources to be made available at meetings.
                                        REFERRAL COORDINATOR

Help families locate child care within the association.
Find ways to promote referral service.
